Job Description

Position Overview
As a Software Business Analyst, you will lead discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design for tailored software projects—especially around CRM, automation, and systems integration. You'll serve as the vital link between client operations and our technical team, ensuring that every software decision contributes to long-term growth and operational efficiency.
This is an in office position located in NY.

Key Responsibilities
● CRM Process Design: Analyze and design CRM workflows that enhance efficiency, visibility, and customer experience across departments.
● Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
● Systems & Process Evaluation: Map current workflows and recommend technology-driven improvements to eliminate manual tasks and increase productivity.
● Solution Design: Partner with clients to design optimal software solutions that align with operational goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
● Documentation: Create detailed business requirements, process flows, and user stories to guide development and testing efforts.
● Testing & Validation: Conduct software testing to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and business expectations.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between non-technical stakeholders and software teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
● Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with CRM trends, enterprise software platforms, and automation strategies to bring proactive solutions to client needs.

Qualifications
● Proven experience in a business analyst or process design role
● Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar)
● Ability to translate business processes into system requirements and process improvements
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing environments
● Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
