Contract HR Generalist
Location: Telford, PA (Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $43/hour
Type: Contract (Potential for permanent placement)
Our manufacturing client in Telford, PA is seeking a skilled and proactive HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team on a contract basis. This onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Benefits Administration
Coordinate the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs including medical, dental, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit vendors, assisting with inquiries, claims resolution, and benefit plan education.
Organize and support company-wide benefit initiatives such as open enrollment sessions, new hire orientations, and updates to retirement or benefit plans.
Leave & Compliance Management
Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves of absence, and paid parental leave.
Oversee the administration of the company’s 401(k) plan and ensure compliance with related regulatory requirements.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including annual labor law postings and internal HR audits (I-9, EEO-1, benefit enrollments, etc.).
HR Operations & Employee Support
Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and company programs, ensuring consistent interpretation and compliance.
Support the employee lifecycle by maintaining accurate employee records, processing staffing changes (hires, terminations, leaves), and updating job classifications and compensation data.
Assist with routine payroll processing in UKG (UltiPro) as needed.
Talent Acquisition & Projects
Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening, and interview coordination as needed.
Contribute to HR initiatives and special projects, including performance management, employee engagement, policy updates, and organizational development efforts.
Administrative & Other Duties
Ensure HR files and documentation are up to date and in full compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
Support HR leadership with data reporting, audits, and project support.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of benefits administration, employment law, and HR best practices
Proficient in HRIS systems; experience with UKG (UltiPro) strongly preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in employee matters
