Job Description

Travel Electricians : Amazon Projects (Contract: Late July through early November) 
Location: Nationwide Travel (Training in Lowell, AR; On-site work follows) 

We're a fast-growing national service provider supporting commercial and industrial clients across the U.S. We're looking for skilled, dependable Licensed Electricians with a service mindset and the flexibility to travel regionally or nationwide. Position Summary
We're hiring electricians and technicians for a full-time travel role supporting a national Amazon project running from late July through early November. Paid training starts the 3rd week of July in Lowell, AR. From there, you'll hit the ground running at job sites across the country. This is a great opportunity to step into a lead role, work steady hours, and be part of a high-profile deployment with long-term potential.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform structured I/O wiring and build tight, organized control panels 
  • Complete up to 18 terminations per box 
  • Upgrade existing electrical and automation systems 
  • Conduct AC and DC I/O checks using multimeters and testing equipment 
  • Provide technical wiring support to associated teams when needed 
  • Help lead large-scale installations, including up to 4,000-door deployments 
  • Manage and eventually lead your own team following initial training 
  • Submit all necessary field deliverables, including photos, checklists, and reports 
  • Maintain job site safety, professionalism, and workmanship standards 

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
  • Must pass a separate Amazon background screening 
  • Strong experience with I/O wiring, control panels, and electrical terminations 
  • Comfortable working long shifts and extended travel rotations 
  • Basic understanding of technology and smart automation systems 
  • Familiarity with multimeters and AC/DC testing procedures 
  • Able to travel and work away from home for weeks at a time 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams post-training 
  • Must bring personal PPE and basic hand tools 

Work Schedule & Travel Details

  • Extensive OT hours: 60-70 hours per week. 
  • Drive personal vehicle to Lowell, AR for training, where you will receive your company vehicle and head out from there. 
  • Amazon conducts a separate required background check upon onboarding

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $30 - $45 per hour, depending on experience and position. 
  • Food per diem provided ($125/day); company books hotel stays
  • Hotels and company vehicles are provided for transport between job sites
