The Sr. Talent, Learning and Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, development and execution of programs that empower our employees and drive talent performance across DHL eCommerce Americas.

Summary

The Sr. Talent, Learning and Development Manager is responsible for leading the design, development and execution of programs that empower our employees and drive talent performance across DHL eCommerce Americas. This professional will play a key role in shaping a high-performing and belonging culture by overseeing talent management process, training and learning strategies, leadership development and succession planning.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead our annual performance evaluation cycle (LEADS), mid-year check-ins, succession planning and Individual Development Plans (IDP’s).
  • Design and deliver coaching and mentorship programs for leadership and high potential talent across all levels in the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, Talent Acquisition team and HR Business Partners to identify critical talent, build pipelines and execute succession strategies.
  • Drive leadership programs that build strong 21st century ecommerce managers and support a culture of Respect and Results.
  • Deliver and manage key global talent programs like ADEPT, Empowered and career planning webinars.
  • Embed engagement topics, culture of belonging and well-being principles across all talent and learning programs, ensuring content, access, and development of our employees.
  • Partner with Engagement and Talent Acquisition teams to create learning experiences that support onboarding and long-term growth and development for new hires.
  • Align with the Certified program team on CES trainings calendar to foster continuous learning, AID feedback culture and development of our eCommerce Specialists.
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of Career Marketplace, empowering employees to own their career growth and skills development through the platform.
  • Oversee training tools, policies and development platforms such as Insights, getAbstract, Learnship, Coursera and Percipio. Create development workshops and courses as needed.
  • Partner with Operations Training team to support learning initiatives for hourly and distribution center employees.
  • Manage talent and learning data in My Talent World. Use analytics and feedback data to identify trends and continuously improve programs. Deliver executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of learning and talent initiatives.
  • Design and deliver the Talent Newsletter and ensure clear, timely communication around upcoming development events and opportunities.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, business administration, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8 – 10 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
  • Proven track record designing, implementing, and scaling talent and development programs across diverse employee populations.
  • Experience in My Talent World system a plus.

Requirements And Skills

  • Strong relationship management, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to provide consultative advice to business leaders and to interact with senior leaders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a compelling, concise, and creative way to internal stakeholders.
  • High critical-thinking skills and ability to position messaging with appropriate methods to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and experience, including managing multiple campaigns and projects at once.
  • Must be comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well.
  • Highly organized and results driven with a commitment to quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Fluency in multi-media platforms such as digital communications and web preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting.
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 25 – 75% of the work shift.
