Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Railroad Permitting Expert to work for one of our large clients. In this role, you will work directly with the client to enhance their railroad permit program, including working with a dynamic team, collecting project data and efficiently submitting deliverables to help our team deliver projects in a top-quality, timely, cost-effective manner.

· Working directly with the client
· Collect data and assemble railroad permit applications.
· Review engineering design drawings
· Attend/ participate in team meetings in support of project development and to review engineering drawings with team.
This position offers a hybrid in-office, work schedule. You must be local to Sacramento, Oakland or Fresno (or willing to relocate) to be considered.

· 5-10 years' experience with California railroad companies.
· 2-5 years' experience working with California utility companies.
· Bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
· Working knowledge of California railroad specific policies, procedures, general and special provisions, and standards specifications and guidelines.
· Proven experience of working directly in a consulting environment.
· Experience working with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
