Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for Systems Engineer for Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) in Charleston, SC. As a MBSE you will employ MBSE approaches to developing Systems Engineering products using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate systems and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering integration with other domains.

This position is part of a diverse technical team supporting major Naval Messaging programs (e.g., C2OIX, NAVMACS II) of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic. We are seeking motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented IT professionals to join our growing team and collaborate on solving technical challenges.

You Will:

• Support MBSE efforts on multiple programs; solicit stakeholder needs for MBSE implementation
• Develop system architecture and interface models
• Elicit stakeholder needs and requirements for input into architecture models
• Use system data to develop modeling and architecture data for assembly, integration and verification
• Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture(s)
• Provide information for hardware and software selection and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, servers, virtual hosts, network attached storage, etc.

You Have:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret as the final clearance
• The ability to work onsite daily.
• Experience performing Systems Engineering activities associated with Model Based applications
• Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering practices and implementation
• 2+ years of direct Cameo modeling experience with demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of SysML, OCSMP/OMG, or equivalent
• Security+ or the ability to obtain SEC+ within 6 months of hire

We would be impressed if you have experience with:

• OCSMP certifications; Level ~2+ preferred
• More than 1 year program work experience in a structured Agile Environment
• Documented LM Systems Engineering Bootcamp Training completion
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Experience using system modeling tools (Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, etc.) to solve systems engineering problems.
• Networking / Systems Administrator background
• Experience with process development and deployment
• Working knowledge of MBSE-related Digital Engineering activities and implementation
• Familiar with Agile Methodologies
