Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned HR Generalist to take on a variety of responsibilities in support of our client — a well-established company that values a supportive and professional workplace.
This temp-to-hire role will oversee key HR functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
You’ll be the go-to resource for employee questions, maintain precise and confidential HR documentation, and help foster a positive work culture through policy support and effective communication. Strong organization and solid knowledge of HR and workers’ comp regulations are a must.

Occasional front desk coverage and miscellaneous tasks may also be part of the role.

Duties:
· Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs.
· Promote positive employee relations and maintain a healthy work environment.
· Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures.
· Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
· Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
· Ensure confidentiality and security of HR information.
· Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
· Responsible for processing and managing workers' compensation claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
· Assist in gathering medical records, filing documentation, and maintaining detailed case records for injured employees.
· communicate with employees, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals to track claim status and resolve issues.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of workers' compensation regulations are essential for success in this role.
· Reception coverage as needed
· Other duties as assigned.
