POSITION: Judicial Law Clerk

START DATE: Between August and October 2025
SALARY: $69,238.80 - $88,324.08 annually. Actual position classification and beginning salary based on experience.
LOCATION: *Tampa/St. Petersburg
* The court’s interim headquarters is in downtown Tampa, pending the completion of a new courthouse in downtown St. Petersburg in November 2025.
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited law school with excellent academic standing; law review, journal, or significant law school writing and editing experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, The selected candidate will serve as one of the two law clerks assisting a judge in
SKILLS, AND the analysis of cases and motions, and the drafting of orders and published opinions.
ABILITIES: The position requires an attorney with excellent research, writing, and editing skills who will prepare in-depth analyses on a variety of legal issues and present ideas orally and in writing to judges of the court. Time management skills and the ability to work effectively with others are crucial. All attorneys at the court must maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle matters honestly and impar tially .
