Requirements:
Current State Licensure

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy, or a Master's degree in SLPs.

Must comply with certification and licensure prerequisites set by state and national board associations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and guide the rehab team, including PTs, OTs, and SLPs.

Cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Oversee rehab services to ensure they meet established protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.

Collaborate with therapists to assess patient needs, create treatment plans, and track progress.

Recruit, train, and manage rehab staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support their development.

Develop and implement tailored rehab programs and strategies to meet patient needs.

Stay updated on industry trends and evidence-based practices to improve program effectiveness.

Monitor and maintain quality assurance, meeting regulatory standards and patient safety.

Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals like physicians, nurses, and social workers for holistic patient care.

Manage the rehab department budget efficiently, optimizing resources for quality care.

Ensure precise and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and activities.

Uphold compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
