As a Copywriter, you have a passion for transforming brands through innovative creative solutions. You excel in writing clear and engaging copy to push it to the next level with ideas and executions that change behaviour and build our clients’ business. You strive to be equal parts big-idea thinker and detail-oriented spell-checker.

As a member of a creative team, you are a born collaborator. You play well with others and can work with other agency departments, including account management, project management, development and production.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Concept and collaborate with creative team, including other copywriters, designers and art directors
  • Kick-ass writing skills—that is, be able to write compelling and grammatically clean copy for a variety of content including social, digital, print, video, and website
  • Adapt tone and messaging to fit different audiences, platforms, and campaign objectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Stay on top of client and industry trends to bring new ideas to the team
  • Begin to meet with and present work to clients of all levels – from junior brand managers to senior marketing clients

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Copywriter experience in advertising, marketing or a creative agency setting
  • Completed Bachelors’ degree, Diploma, or equivalent work experience
  • A demonstrated ability to expand thinking to integrated channels and multiple platforms
  • Strong conceptual and writing skills
  • Ability to interpret briefs, develop creative concepts, and execute successfully
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, take constructive feedback, and seek out and act on peer and client feedback
  • Developing presentation skills and comfortable speaking about your work in an engaging manner
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and punctuation
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and proactively manage priorities effectively
