The Arizona Respiratory Board is seeking a Contract Investigator to support its licensing and enforcement operations. This role is ideal for professionals with prior investigative experience in state agencies, particularly within health board licensing.

• Plan, organize, and conduct investigations related to licensing and complaints.
• Coordinate with Medical Consultants to ensure timely and accurate case processing.
• Collect and manage data, ensuring quality control and timely completion of investigative projects.
• Prepare and organize cases for presentation before the Board.
• Respond to inquiries from licensees and complainants regarding investigations.
• Communicate with licensees and their legal counsel, maintaining accurate records of all communications.

• Prior investigative experience with a state agency.

• Investigative or executive leadership experience in a health board licensing agency.

• Candidates must be local to Arizona and available for in-person interviews within one week of the posting close date.
• Must be able to start within two weeks of offer.
• Background checks and drug screenings will be conducted via HireRight .
• Tentative start date is subject to completion of interviews, onboarding, and issuance of a Purchase Order by the agency.
