**Description** Leidos has an exciting career opportunity for a Consulting Employee focused on Special Operations Command Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) and Human Performance Optimization. This individual will play a key role in advising the team on requirements, best practices, and innovative solutions to address the needs of Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and their families and will provide subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and insight to enhance our efforts in the POTFF pursuit and other similar pursuits for the Performance and Readiness Division. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Strategic Advisory:** Serve as a key advisor to Leidos' capture team, providing in-depth knowledge of the POTFF program, including its mission, goals, and operational challenges. + **Capture Strategy Development:** Collaborate with the capture team to shape and refine capture strategies for POTFF-related pursuits, leveraging prior experience as a POTFF director to provide insights into program needs and solution alignment. + **Proposal Support:** Assist in the development of proposal responses by contributing to the articulation of key value propositions, program implementation strategies, and compliance with government requirements. + **Customer Engagement:** Facilitate introductions and help build relationships with key stakeholders within the POTFF community, including military leadership, contracting officers, and other relevant government personnel. + **Market Insight:** Provide intelligence on the POTFF program landscape, including emerging trends, funding opportunities, and competitive dynamics. + **Solution Development:** Advise on innovative solutions to address the health, readiness, and resilience of SOF personnel and their families, ensuring alignment with current POTFF initiatives and priorities. + **Pricing Strategy Development:** Collaborate with Leidos' pricing team to develop competitive and accurate pricing for labor categories associated with POTFF-related contracts. Provide insight into the skill sets, experience levels, and qualifications required for various roles within the program, ensuring that labor categories align with program requirements and budget constraints. + **Risk Management:** Identify potential risks and challenges in pursuit of POTFF opportunities and propose mitigation strategies to the capture team. + **Support for Performance and Readiness Opportunities:** Assist the capture team in identifying and pursuing additional opportunities within the broader Performance and Readiness domain, beyond POTFF. Provide strategic input and subject matter expertise to expand Leidos' portfolio in areas such as psychological health, resilience training, and family readiness programs across other military branches and units. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in a Human Performance space. + Previous experience as a Director or senior leader within the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program. + Extensive knowledge of SOF community requirements and challenges related to family support, resilience, and well-being. + Proven experience working with DoD contracts and procurement processes, with an understanding of capture and proposal development in the defense industry. + Strong network within the POTFF, SOF, and military health systems communities. + Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative team environment. + Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance and actionable insights for business development efforts. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience consulting with or supporting large defense contractors in capture or business development roles. + Familiarity with government contracting vehicles relevant to POTFF. + Knowledge of behavioral health, psychological support, and wellness initiatives within the military. **Duration:** Project-based consultancy, with potential for ongoing engagement based on contract success. **Original Posting:** June 3, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range - The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
