Job Title: Communications Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $110K–$120K base + bonus

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or Journalism
• At least 3 years relevant experience (5–7 years preferred)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Project management and organizational skills
• Internal communication strategies
• Social media management (LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
• Collaboration across business units
• Familiarity with digital tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI)
• Graphic design and multimedia content creation
• Knowledge of energy/offshore markets preferred
The Communications Specialist will develop, implement, and manage internal and external communication strategies, with a primary focus on internal communications and some external responsibilities. This role will collaborate with leadership, the business development group, and international counterparts to ensure cohesive messaging across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with business units and departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging
• Maintain communication records using company tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI)
• Partner with leadership to draft and distribute internal communications
• Create engaging intranet articles, newsletters, and announcements
• Collaborate with global communications teams for message alignment
• Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook) to enhance visibility and support business development
• Develop multimedia content and preserve brand image/identity
