We are seeking a Chat Support Representative to join our dedicated team and serve as the first point of contact for families and community members who reach out through our online platforms.
Position Overview
The Chat Support Representative will handle live chat inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide families and individuals through sensitive topics with care and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to online inquiries via live chat, website, and messaging platforms.
Provide compassionate assistance to families seeking information about funeral and cremation services.
Accurately share company policies, service options, and general information in a respectful and supportive manner.
Escalate complex or urgent matters to the appropriate team members when necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Uphold the company’s values of compassion, dignity, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in customer service, chat support, or related field.
Excellent written communication skills with a compassionate tone.
Strong computer and typing skills; ability to manage multiple chat windows simultaneously.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in sensitive conversations.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
